Anna Marie Steffenson’s body of work focuses 

on the healing, restorative power of the arts while emphasizing the choice to channel the trauma of war and into beauty. 

 Among the themes addressed through her work are the bridging of cultures and the meditative and emotive experience of color.  

Anna Marie is pushing the physical boundaries of watercolor and celebrating her diverse sources of origin between the Nebraskan farmyard and her war-torn beloved Jerusalem.

 Anna Marie is an international artist with work in private, public, religious, royal, and corporate collections in over two dozen countries.  She teaches Watercolor Workshops throughout the United States. Anna Marie has lived in Jordan, Taiwan,  Chickasaw Nation, extensively throughout the American farmlands, both East and West Jerusalem and is now cultivating her home in Tanzania.
